Much attention is paid to the training of employees. Training of skilled personnel for the automobile industry of Uzbekistan is conducted in specialized colleges in Asaka and Samarkand cities, the branch of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and academic lyceum at the Turin Polytechnic University. Training of the staff at the plant is conducted at three basic levels – on-the-job, at the Company’s Training Centre and practical in-service training. MBO (Management By Objectives) method has been introduced at the company. This method helps to inform all management levels of JV “GM Uzbekistan” about Company’s strategic goals.
